My Taonga

We have been learning to make connections to the people and places that are important to us.

My Taonga is a coin set.  

I have chosen my Taonga because it reminds me of my family.  

The place I am connected to is Timaru because this is where I was born.

I have been able to make connections within my classmates, to Shilah and Harry because we have all connected to  Timaru.

Hi, my name is Peter. I am a year 5 at Paparoa Range School. My teacher is Mrs McGeever she is a nice teacher. I have a dog, 1 cat, 1 kitten and 2 guinea pigs. I have one brother and zero sisters. I am 9 years old. My favourite subjects at school are maths and reading. My dogs name is Max we call him Maxy. I am good at reading. I admire my kitten because he is really energetic.
